What is LittlePastryGifts?
LittlePastryGifts is a scheduling service from Little Pastry Shop in Kingston, Ontario. You save the people you care about, add their important dates (birthdays, anniversaries, holidays), and choose a pastry gift for each occasion. We remind you 3 days before each date so you can confirm and pay. Then we bake everything fresh and deliver it (or have it ready for pickup).
Is it free to sign up?
Yes! Creating an account and scheduling gifts is completely free. You only pay when you confirm a gift 3 days before the occasion. There are no subscriptions, hidden fees, or upfront charges.
How long does it take to set up?
Most customers set up their first gift in under 3 minutes. Just add a person, pick a date, choose a gift set, and you're done. You can always add more people and occasions later.
Do I have to pay upfront when I schedule a gift?
No. Scheduling a gift is free. You only pay when we send you a reminder 3 days before the occasion. At that point, you can confirm and pay, swap the gift, change delivery details, or skip it entirely. No pressure.

What kind of gifts do you offer?
We offer curated pastry gift sets, including:
- Pancake Mix + Syrup Set
- French Macarons Box
- Signature Set (croissants, scones, baguette)
- Bagels + Cream Cheese Set
- Seasonal Holiday Boxes (when available)
All items are baked fresh at our Kingston bakery on the day of delivery.
Can I change my gift choice after scheduling?
Absolutely. When you receive your 3-day reminder, you can swap to a different gift set, change the delivery method, update the message, or skip the occasion entirely. Nothing is locked in until you confirm and pay.
What if a gift set is unavailable when I get my reminder?
If your chosen gift is temporarily unavailable (seasonal items, supply limits), we'll show you 2-3 similar alternatives on the confirmation page. You can pick a different gift or skip that occasion.
Can I add a personal message to the gift?
Yes! Each gift plan lets you include a personal message that we'll include with a hand-written card in the gift box.
🚚 Delivery & Pickup
Where do you deliver?
We deliver throughout Kingston, Ontario and surrounding areas. If you're unsure whether a specific address is in our delivery zone, feel free to contact us and we'll let you know.
Can I pick up the gift instead?
Yes! You can choose bakery pickup when setting up a gift. We'll have it ready at our shop on King Street East during our regular business hours. You'll get a notification when it's ready.
What are the delivery hours?
Deliveries are made during our regular hours: Monday through Saturday, 7am to 6pm, and Sunday, 8am to 3pm. We try to deliver in the morning when possible to ensure maximum freshness.
What if the recipient isn't home?
We'll follow any delivery notes you provide (leave at door, with a neighbour, buzz code, etc.). If we can't complete the delivery and no instructions were provided, we'll contact you to arrange a redelivery or pickup.
💳 Payments & Refunds
When am I charged?
You are only charged when you confirm a gift (3 days before the occasion). If you skip an occasion or don't confirm, you are not charged anything. Payment is processed securely through Stripe.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards through Stripe, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
What is your refund policy?
If you need to cancel a confirmed order, please contact us as soon as possible. If we haven't started baking yet, we'll issue a full refund. Once production has begun, we may offer partial credit depending on timing. See our full policies for details.
Do prices include tax?
Prices shown are before tax. Applicable Ontario sales tax (HST) will be calculated at checkout when you confirm your gift.
🔒 Account & Privacy
Is my personal information safe?
Yes. We take privacy seriously. Your personal details and recipient addresses are stored securely using encryption. We never share or sell your information. See our privacy policy for full details.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. If you'd like to delete your account and all associated data, please contact us at hello@littlepastryshop.ca and we'll process your request promptly.
